Dawn Patrol

Selected balloons launch before sunrise, glowing against the dark New Mexico sky while pilots evaluate flying conditions.

Mass Ascension

Hundreds of balloons prepare for takeoff and rise into the morning sky in carefully coordinated waves. This is one of the Fiesta’s most iconic experiences.

Balloon Glows

After sunset, pilots ignite their burners while the balloons remain on the ground, illuminating the launch field with color.

AfterGlow™ Fireworks

Selected evening sessions conclude with fireworks following the balloon glow.

Scheduled sessions may feature formations created by illuminated drones above Balloon Fiesta Park.

Albuquerque International Sunport — ABQ — is the primary airport serving the city.

Park & Ride

Official Park & Ride tickets generally include event admission and round-trip transportation from designated remote parking locations.
